The beginning of May saw the 70th Anniversary edition of the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton ’19 Horse Trials.
Taking place in the beautiful surroundings of the Badminton Estate, the pinnacle of the world’s 3-day eventing calendar sees competitors from all over the world descend on the stunning Gloucestershire countryside for the 5-star contest.
A global event of this stature needs suppliers of the same pedigree, and this is where Portable Toilets Limited step in! Catering for thousands of members of the public, members, VIPs, competitors and exhibitors means a huge range of portable toilet products are required.
Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials chose PTL
Over 600 plastic portable toilets are positioned around the site for use for nearly a week, to encompass the Mitsubishi Motor’s Cup too. From the Wednesday through until the Sunday, every single one of these plastic toilets is emptied twice a day, power washed and replenished with environmentally friendly chemical and loo roll. From Thursday, cleaners are contracted in to constantly restock the loo rolls and litter pick the immediate area of the portable toilets.

Portable Toilets Limited have revolutionised the portable toilet offering at Badminton ’19 by installing an almost entirely vacuum portable toilet system around the remainder of the site. Trade Stands, competitors and public alike all have fresh water, super clean portable toilet systems that use a fraction of the water of more traditional ‘cabin based’ systems, reducing water use on some sites by up to 90%!
Some locations still have the need for the traditional trailer mounted VIP portable toilet for hire, and our large stock ensures we can cope with and supply this demand too.
It’s not just portable toilets we supply; multiple units of portable showers for hire are installed all over the site, to ensure that those staying onsite to compete, work or trade can have clean, hot running water day and night for the duration of their stay.
