This is how we supply over 600 portable toilets

When one needs portable toilets for the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials. A spectacular event based over 500 acres of stunning Gloucestershire countryside, one can only count on Portable Toilets Limited (PTL) for a 5 star service worthy of this event!

Bought originally in 1609 and now the family home to the 12th Duke of Beaufort, Badminton has been hosting one of the world’s premier 3-day-eventing competitions since 1949.  PTL’s involvement came much later obviously, but for many years now we have been the proud supplier of all manner of portable sanitation products to the Estate and the competition over a two-week period

It is a huge privilege to be involved with such a high profile, historic event, in such a beautiful setting. As our installation requires many, many vehicle movements of portable toilet kit and equipment, it is essential that we treat the ground with the utmost respect. Luckily, PTL have decades of experience dealing with high profile venues, from palaces and Royal Parks to castles and historic estates.

The loading in of over 600 portable toilets, 50 portable toilet trailers and portable toilet vacuum equipment went without a hitch, as well as portable showers and portable toilets for traders and campsites.

Once in, the operational element of our role truly begins. During the silent hours, many tankers and crewed vehicles ensure the full servicing of all units onsite is conducted, and contracted cleaning staff ensure that all our portable toilet units are kept stocked throughout the day.

In constant radio contact with the organizers, our expert site mangers are able to react to any issues as they occur and very much become part of the wider onsite organizing team. It is this project-managed, consultative approach to any event that we are involved with that has earned us the reputation we have today of being the UK’s leading supplier of portable toilets to events.

Accessible High Dependency Unit provision

Our commitment to accessible provision continued at Badminton Horse Trials, with a high specification High Dependency Unit in use at the first aid point, providing a clean, safe, serviceable portable toilet solution for customers with accessibility requirements.

And then, following the show jumping on Sunday, it was all over. After the hottest early bank holiday on record, and a scorching win from Jonelle Price, it was time to pack up and move on. Given our logistical expertise, it takes less time than you’d think to safely remove all of this portable toilet kit, and by the end of the week we will be clear of this historic site.

Well done the PTL team; and thank you to all our staff, as well as the team at the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials. The team now moves onto Moonwalk, the great breast cancer charity walk in London, and the supply of more portable toilets and staff for hire.

See you onsite.
