Portable Toilets Limited (PTL www.ptl.uk.com) were delighted to be appointed as the sanitation supplier for both the Roundhay Park (with special thanks to WG Search), Leeds and the Chantry Park Ipswich shows.
Two nights in the wonderful Roundhay Park were followed a week later by a four-night extravaganza to end his world tour; and we were there to ensure it all went very smoothly form a sanitation point of view.
Servicing plastic and VIP outdoor event toilets
Roundhay Park is certainly iconic, with acts such as the Rolling Stones, Michael Jackson, Bruce Springsteen and U2 having performed there. Our brief was to deliver, site, service and remove in excess of 600 plastic event toilets for hire. We use out ‘High Tech’ PJ type loo for these installs, as seen here. We ensured all toilets were serviced throughout too.
The build in this amazing grass amphitheatre was tricky to say the least, but with our consultative and proactive site managers on hand to liaise with the promoter at every stage, we were in and ready way before ‘doors’; a great achievement for us at this outdoor event.
The same in Chantry park; over 600 portable toilets delivered into another (arguable even tighter) greenfield site. This 4-night show meant that each and every loo needed jet washing and prepping every night for the next day, and our teams didn’t miss a beat.

With some VIP trailer mounted portable toilets for hire to the production areas and dressing rooms too, we were able to supply a one stop solution for the promoter to cater for all their areas.
