Since its inception in 1839, Henley Royal Regatta has attracted the very best in oarsmen and women from around the world, to compete in arguably the most beautiful setting in the sport.
The starting point, encompassing the BarnBar, Temple Island and China White enclosures among others, also attracts the very best in contractors to supply such a prestigious event. One of these, I am delighted to say, is us: Portable Toilets Limited. Although we have not been around since 1839 (I think sanitation provision was very different then), I am sure Captain Edmund Gardiner would have had us in mind when he launched the very first event all those years ago.
Working with the Copas Partnership, we supply hundreds of portable toilets for hire across the 5 days of the event. The Temple Island Enclosure encompasses some extremely high level hospitality for clients with exacting standards, and we are happy to oblige with our luxury VIP trailer toilets for hire.
The Barn Bar is a bustling, atmospheric bar area with exciting street foods, live music and crowds to match. It’s a great location from which to watch the rowing, so they therefore required a high-end sanitation solution that could adequately cater for thousands of guests during long opening hours; our sustainable, fresh water vacuum toilets were just the product.
Using just 450ml of water per flush, with no chemical or smell, these vacuum toilets for hire can run all day long without the need for vehicles to gain access to service. All our work is done during the silent hours; great for customer service and for guest safety and experience.
Whizz-Kidz are a wonderful charity who have a presence at the Regatta every year. We have been delighted to work alongside them to supply our top specification High Dependency Unit toilet for hire. Fully compliant and accredited by Attitude is Everything, our HDU is equipped with a fully height-adjustable bed and electric hoist, ensuring those with the greatest needs have a suitable sanitation provision.
This year’s Henley Royal Regatta was a huge success; maybe we’ll see you there next year?
See you onsite.
