Over the series of 6 event days and nights, the www.ptl.uk.com team supplied and managed the portable sanitation for 260,000 people at London’s Finsbury Park.
What a fantastic run of events it was: Queens of the Stone Age, Stormzy, Drake, Liam Gallagher and hundreds more took to the stage in London’s Finsbury Park, entertaining a diverse crowd across many genres. Wireless and Community Festivals, along with some standalone gigs, were the clients.
Our operation consisted of many hundreds of portable toilets for hire for general admission, luxury VIP trailer toilets for the VIP and guest areas, and of course the very best trailer toilets for the artists.
Our green, open spaces are vital in the UK; nowhere more so than in London, where space is at such a premium. A commitment is made to keep Finsbury Park open to the public for as long as possible during the build and break periods. This has unique challenges for us as a contractor, particularly with regard to our vehicle movements, but it’s nothing that the www.ptl.uk.com logistics team can’t handle.
Once the hundreds of portable toilets are lined up in neat blocks, they are washed, charged and stocked ready for the first guests. Whilst this is happening, our specialist trailer toilet division is busy plumbing in the fresh water to some of our vacuum POD toilets for hire, using a unique, sustainable vacuum flush and minimal water for a great guest experience.
At 2200h most evenings, it was all over! The servicing teams would then spring into action and work all through the night to cleanse, disinfect and jet wash each plastic portable toilet, restock and charge them up, ready for the next influx of festival goers.
See you there?
