PTL's project managers on the ground surpassed everyone's expectations in the delivery and maintenance of sanitation to support the London based element of this momentous historical event
As a wise, fellow said, ‘this is one event we never wanted to have to do, but one which we are all incredibly honoured that we did.’
I’ve waited for the dust to settle before posting this. As soon as we got the call on 8th September 2022 that Her Majesty the Queen had died, a team that had already been flat out since April mobilised once again, and I am still frankly stunned at what they achieved in 12 days.
Long awaited family holidays were cancelled. Celebrations, birthdays and anniversaries postponed, and the team deployed to London. What we have done to deserve such loyalty I am not sure, but from 9th September onwards the London Bridge team were across London, doing what they do best.
All of OP FEATHER, The Queue, as well as all of Hyde Park, Canada Gate Media Village, and even the VIP Toilet Trailers for Westminster Abbey itself were provided by PORTABLE TOILETS LIMITED. Working for two clients who both directly reported into Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS), PTL’s project managers on the ground surpassed everyone’s expectations in the delivery and maintenance of sanitation to support the London based element of this momentous historical event.
Operation London Bridge surpassed all expectations with such a speedy deployment
Supplying and servicing over 2000 portable toilets in and around West London, over 100 pans of vacuum and specialised trailer units, and over 500 toilets along the Queue route, PTL and their expert project managers made sure the whole Operation London Bridge went without incident and surpassed all expectations with such a speedy deployment, and have been commended by DCMS for their performance’
The feedback has been fantastic, and it’s all down to the men and women who planned, activated and delivered an unprecedented level of infrastructure in 12 days. I am truly proud to have been a part of it, and also of those who maintained their professionalism and grit throughout.🙏🏻
Thanks as always to our clients, but also to our staff, who I’m still in awe of frankly.
RIP Your Majesty.
